  • Overcoming The 6 Basic Fears (Poverty, Criticism, Poor Health, Loss of a Loved One, Old Age, and Death)

    Here at Dream Chasers, our motto is Faith or Fear. When we set out to do something we've never done before or take a chance, rest assured that old man FEAR will always come knocking.

    In this episode, we break down the 6 Basic Fears that were uncovered in Napoleon Hill's book "Think and Grow Rich." Those fears are:

    • Fear of Poverty
    • Fear of Criticism
    • Fear of Poor Health
    • Fear of Loss of a Loved One
    • Fear of Old Age
    • Fear of Death

    Whew, that's quite a list! Do any of those resonate with you? They do for us!

    The strange thing about fear is that often times (almost always) it's just something we've fabricated in our own heads. That's right, we're basically scaring OURSELVES with something that's not even real or may never happen. The unfortunate thing is that the fear holds us back, paralyzing us to never realize our true full potential.

    How do we fight back against this enemy called fear? Through FAITH. Faith is the only way to combat fear and it requires focusing on positivity, shutting out negativity, and BELIEVING in the unseen. Think of all the men and women of history who did great things. Believe it or not, they aren't any different from us. They just had FAITH and when they were met with adversity they continued to push forward with definiteness of purpose.

    You can be great too, but it's going to require grit. It's going to require determination. It's going to require FAITH!
