I am gutted!
One of my children recently had a very traumatic experience. It's unfortunate that the incident itself wasn't the extent of the trauma. Nope, our wonderful police department just had to add to it. 
Is there anyone we can trust to care anymore?

This one is a little off-topic but, it feels like the right time to go in a new direction. Are you tired of hiding who you are? Are you tired of being afraid of backlash if you say the "wrong" thing?  If you're like me, you've been living in anxious fear. Guess what it has gotten me...Absolutely Nothing! Time to create an open, respectful, and safe platform where we can discuss our differences in a respectful manner.

It's easy to point out what you think doesn't work but focusing on the negative doesn't lead to solutions. It certainly doesn't explain why five people died from exposure when there were likely resources available to prevent such an outcome. Let's address the elephant in the room, what stopped them from accessing programs that could have saved their lives?

There's no such thing as bad publicity! This statement is an outdated lie. Yes, you can get people talking about you and elevating your public profile. The question is, what do you want them to be saying about you? In this episode, I share two specific situations where being quiet is the better choice.
