このコンテンツについて
Deborah is an expert in her field and has the insight of lived experience on subjects such as chronic fatigue and autoimmune disorder. During this conversation we will speak about the importance of good nutrition in our daily life, the difference between fatigue and being "tired" what we can eat to support health conditions.
How and when to eat for a great nights sleep and to sustain energy throughout the day.
We will also discuss the merits of fasting and giving our body nourishment and respite either side of the fast we engage.
It is important to note that fasting is not recommended for everyone and the following groups of people should avoid fasting and always seek medical advice.
- Weak, malnourished, frail, elderly
- Those who are pregnant of breastfeeding
- Cancer and diabetic patients —only under supervision.
- Serious heart / liver / kidney / thyroid diseases.
- Eating disorders
- Gall stones and kidney stones
- Mental health conditions if not stable
- Seek medical advice if you take life-saving prescription medications
