  • Hey Bessie, send us a text message!

AND NOW A WARNING. This project contains mature and sensitive themes such as depression, death, and suicide. Listener discretion is advised.

Two queer Filipinos walk into a bar to talk about death. Choz, hindi ito start of a joke, Bes – it's a relaxed but intimate conversation about watching our parents fade, losing siblings too soon, and how growing up in a culture that whispers about death dictates how we face it.

We face our complex relationship with mortality, especially as people who once didn't want to live. Keber sa awkward silences, Bes! This is not forced optimism or toxic positivity - we're just being honest about how we're coming to terms with the impending death of a loved one in the hopes of revealing what happens when we finally say the unsayable.

    Language: Tagalog, English
