Dear Hannah, Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation where someone makes another person doubt their own judgment, perception, or sanity. It is heinous (wicked), pernicious (harmful), prevalent, and *effective*. How do you combat something so powerful? How do you resist (refuse to accept or comply ... not be affected)?
