Ivet tells us how discovering the power in her own story allowed her to turn it into a monetizing career for her and a strategic media plan for her clients.

Los Corazones is a CBESS (Community of Bilingual English-Spanish Speakers Exploring Issues in Science and Health) cohort of high school students with the desire to help the wellbeing of others and to someday make it in a profession in the medical or healthcare field. Members of Los Corazones share how they are making an impact on Latinx adolescents by furthering the mental health conversation within our Latinx community. They talk about their research survey during covid-19 and the learned mental health connections.

Continuamos celebrando el mes de la mujer con la historia de Mary Rodríguez, quien es parte de un porcentaje de 1.5 de mujeres que trabajan en la construcción. Como mujer latina inmigrante nos cuenta de lo que la impulse a salir adelante y preparase para trabajar en algo que le gusta, especialmente en un trabajo dominado por los hombres. Su determinación es ejemplo a seguir para otras mujeres de tomar espacios no comunes para alcanzar sus sueños y crear el cambio.
