Welcome to Day 9 of Lent 2026 today is Fri Feb 27th. Today's Gospel reading and Encounter with Jesus is Matthew 5:20-26
Every once in a while I come across a Gospel reading that stops me in my tracks. That really challenges me. And this scripture reading is one of them
“You will not be released until you have paid the last penny”
