Hello again. This week, we cover Loudoun United’s league-leading 10th draw of the season, a scoreless one with Detroit City. This one, like other recent ones, was encouraging, I think, so there are some positives the team hopes to spring off of, despite an age-old question on soccer reporting: what’s more fun to write about?

Later, Bolu Akinyode joins me for a few minutes, and we go over some of the stops he’s made in the league and his role as elder statesman of sorts. Lots of USL names tossed around in here, including a potential comp for Richie Aman.

This week, I don’t have a guest, just my dulcet tones. I talk about Loudoun’s loss to Charleston, but more than that, talk about the importance of the news of Thor Ulfarsson’s transfer (back) to Iceland. I also talk about the roster piece I did on D.C. United, and why I feel strongly about it, or as strongly about D.C. United that I can feel these days, and dust off the roster/transfer nerdery jacket*.

Wow, a Loudoun win? Go figure! Anyway, a look back at Loudoun’s shutout win over Indy in segment one.

In segment two, I talk to Richie Aman about his last few weeks as a college player and winning the College Cup with Washington (spoiler: it was a LOT of travel), before getting drafted by D.C. United and loaned to Loudoun. He also covers the *MANY CONFLICTING FEELINGS he has around Loudoun’s friendly with D.C.

In this week’s episode, I look back at Loudoun’s draw with Tampa Bay, which wasn’t bad, and perhaps clarified things for Alen Marcina as we get closer to the end of the season than the beginning. Plus, Pedro Santos chats about going from Columbus to Loudoun, coaching his oldest son in youth soccer in the area, and what the future may or may not bring.

Hello, I would have had this out sooner, but I’m learning about channels and track volume in Garageband which output a blank, but recorded, version of this earlier. Loudoun’s loss to Pittsburgh (and their first choice lineup in July finally) is talked about for a second, but I also cover Loudoun United’s relationship with and to D.C. United in various forms. It’s a little stream of consciousness but I hope you get the general jist.

Not exactly a pleasant night! Well, Ryan looks at Loudoun’s 4-1 loss to Charleston, and while it’s not SO bad, Loudoun’s first two weeks after they get back from their break will show whatever kind of future they have (with respect).

This week, we look back at Loudoun’s 4-1 loss to Rhode Island and some takeaways good and bad. Then, Loudoun defender Jacob Erlandson joins me. Among the topics:

• How he got to this point in his career
• About his injury and rehab
• Balancing Union duties during CBA negotiations while returning
• How the organizer has been trying to find the rhythm of his new backline
• The varied hairstyle game and meaning.

We went for a while and could have gone on more if life didn’t get in the way, but I hope and plan to do a part 2 of some sort.
