Did your parents ever say that to you growing up? Mine did and it drove me absolutely crazy! They would say things and their actions did not match up with what they said.

Jesus is telling us in Matthew 23 that we are to do as God's word says, but not do it as the ones who sit in the seat of Moses. What do you think of if I say, "God is mighty" or the phrase, Do it with all your might!?

When I think of might i think of strength, more like physical strength and will. When I was reading Ephesians Chapter 3, I came across a prayer that Paul had for the church that struck me, " ...pray you would be strengthened with might through His spirit in the inner man, that Christ would dwell in your hearts through faith."

I decided to look up the word might and here is what I found:

might-ability to do anything requiring force or power; strength

2 The possession of great resources; intensity of will; ability

The second definition was insightful to me and that is exactly what I want to dig into today.
