Still deep within the cave, the Guild attempt to regain control of a situation that already got well out of hand.
With the creatures dealt with (somehow), a new opportunity presents itself—a deal with a mysterious druid who knows far more about Gallowmere than anyone has let on. Secrets begin to surface, threads start to connect… and naturally, a puzzle blocks the way forward.
Which is where things take an unexpected turn.
Because against all odds, Darvin steps up—and solves it.
Not through careful thought. Not through logic. But through what can only be described as baffling, unstoppable luck.
Armed with new information and a growing sense that something in Gallowmere is deeply wrong, the party return to settle matters with the blacksmith… only for negotiations to deteriorate into a tense standoff.
And then things get worse.
Marta is gone.
Kidnapped.
What follows is less a rescue mission and more a full-force retaliation. With another obstacle in their path—and Darvin once again somehow the key to solving it—the Guild descend upon the Tannery in a storm of steel, shouting, and very questionable decision-making.
Blood is spilled. Scores are settled.
But in the chaos, one question remains:
Will they reach Marta in time…
and more importantly—will Darvin finally get his lunch?
