This is Cutting Through The Nonsense podcasts from Hasler-White Inclusive Facilitation. This podcast is for third, social and community sector leaders - with, at times, an East Anglian focus. The aim is to bring hope, inspiration and new ideas to the sector and its leaders. In an impossible climate for charities and social enterprises, there is a need for quality bite-sized information that is accessible, inclusive and not scary. It’s lonely and hard out there so in this podcast we will together rid the world, or at least this podcast, of acronyms, jargon and unnecessary negativity.Future Radio マネジメント マネジメント・リーダーシップ 経済学

How to pivot in a world of shrinking traditional funding.

What a consultant observes in the charity and social enterprise sector.

The importance (or not) of walking the walk as a third sector leader who moves into consultancy.

In this podcast with Jodie Marshall from Mantle, Jodie shares her extraordinary story of developing a social enterprise barely out of her teens and how her desire to create a trading organisations rather than a charity has shaped her career since then.

Thank you to Jodie for bringing such fresh perspectives and an obvious wealth of knowledge and insight in a sector that appears to be in a permanent pivot.

The aim is to cut through the nonsense by having no nonsense open acronym-free conversations about all the things I wish I’d had support with when running my social enterprise.

It’s now my turn to bring some hope, new ideas and inspiration by speaking to people within my network.

Moving into new geographies is one way of finding it. Developing into a new area for a relatively small or young social enterprise can often appear unachievable or just too risky. In this podcast with Christy Acton from Standing Tall, Christy tells us how they approach moving into new geographies with their mission to provide good jobs and safe homes to get and keep people off the street - a place bursting with talent. Thank you to Christy Acton for sharing so openly his business model, purpose and approaches to growing theirimpact. These podcasts are brought to you by Rebecca White of Hasler-White Limited in partnership with the wonderful people at Future Projects in Norwich.

Focusing on the needs of the business and ensuring, as a social enterprise, that the business achieves on its own merits, are just some of Matt’s many achievements.

In this podcast Matt talks us through the businesses that sit under Grace Enterprises and his commitment to creating viable commercial entities - that at the same time change lives.

‘Biscuits that change lives’ is perhaps an easy sell, but Matt has taken the business from strength to strength (with a new bakery just opened) thanks to both surrounding himself with diverse voices and trusting them to get on with the job at hand.

But it’s not just about biscuits…

Thank you to Matt Parfitt for sharing his approaches, vision and ambition to have a positive impact on as many people facing employment barriers as possible.
