  • Behold As Revelation
    2025/12/24

This week on Creative Thinking, we reach the culmination of our Advent journey together.

In Matthew 1 and Luke 2, we behold the person and purpose of Christ: the Savior who comes to redeem, to save His people from their sins, and to bring joy and hope to all. Advent reminds us that God’s love is near, tangible, and life-changing.

As we close this year’s Advent podcast series, join us one last time to stop, look, and behold the mystery of God made flesh—and worship before the wonder of love come near.

  • The Call to See
    2025/12/22

This week on Creative Thinking, we reach the culmination of our Advent journey together. We will reflect on the glory revealed in the manger, the wonder of the Savior who came to dwell with us, and the promise that began in Bethlehem and will one day be fully realized in heaven. In Isaiah 7 and Matthew 1, we see the promise fulfilled—God with us, Immanuel. Not distant, not indifferent, not waiting until we’re ready–but present, living among us.

  • Strange, Old, and Good News: The News of Advent
    2025/12/15

This week on Creative Thinking, we’re continuing our Advent journey, shifting our focus from the people of Advent to the news they receive.

In Luke 1 and Matthew 2, we encounter strange, old, and good news. An angel delivers a message that surprises and challenges us, reminding us that God works in ways beyond our imagination. The familiar story of Christ’s birth also calls us to examine lives built on incomplete faith, inviting us to trust God fully. And the good news? God has come to save the world, bringing joy for all people through the Savior, Christ the Lord.

Through Scripture and art, we’ll explore how the news of Advent—strange, old, and good—and the faithful people who witness it reveal the heart of a God who comes to redeem, restore, and bring joy.

  • Herod, the Religious, the Magi: The People of Advent
    2025/12/10

This week on Creative Thinking, we’re continuing our Advent journey, from the places of the story to the people who bring its pages to life.

In Matthew 2, we meet a restless king, wandering magi, and people who almost missed the miracle happening right in front of them. Advent encourages us to think about our own lives. It asks us to give up control for trust, distance for worship, and restlessness for peace.

Through Scripture, art, and song, we’ll explore how the people of Advent reveal the heart of a God who welcomes, redeems, and restores.
