  • Creating Space for Mind/Body Awareness

    Aloha, today I continue my journey with the Mind Space club at a local high school.  We are discussing the benefits of mind-body awareness through meditation.  Benefits include, but are not limited to: Improved academic performance, brain functioning, & athletic performance. Increased creativity, memory, self-confidence and self-actualization, as well as decreased hostility, decreased depression and reduced anxiety.  Today's guided meditation accompanies this discussion to help the high school students understand what it feels like to increase mind-body awareness. As you may notice the procedure is a bit different than my regular episodes, but the meditations are beneficial to everyone. If you need to take a break from the hectic holiday schedule, get comfortable and press play.
