概要
Craig Morton, a Cal football legend and NFL quarterback, passed away at 83. He starred at Cal from 1962-64, setting Pac-8 records and earning All-American honors. Drafted 5th overall by Dallas in 1965, he played 18 pro seasons across Cowboys, Giants, and Broncos, becoming the first QB to reach Super Bowl with two teams. In his pro peak at 38 with Denver, he ranked 2nd in MVP voting, threw for over 3195 yards, and won Comeback Player of the Year. Beyond the field, Morton coached for Broncos and USFLs Denver Gold, stayed tied to Cal in athletics development, and earned spots in halls of fame and Cals Glenn Seaborg Award.
