  • 7/15/25: Master P Retires; Flavor Flav’s Gun Ban; Fan Asks for Megan Good’s Number
    2025/07/16

Master P is on to bigger and better things now that he is the President of Basketball Operations at the University of New Orleans. After accepting the position, he has now announced that he is officially retiring from music, adding that there is a lot of negativity in hip-hop and people don’t want to talk about the positive things, thus he is fine with his decision to move on from it. We give our thoughts on P’s comments. Also, Flavor Flav is advocate for guns to be banned in the United States, citing the country’s unique problems with guns and mass violence. We discuss what Flavor Flav had to say. Plus, Jonathan Majors and Meagan good were engaging with fans recently, and while everything appeared okay, things took a bit of a turn when one of the fans wanted to take a picture with Meagan and then asked for her number right in front of Majors. She checked the fan, and Majors interjected, but the fan claimed he didn’t know they were together. We talk about what we make of the interesting exchange. We also talk about Paul Pierce calling out Dr. Cheyenne Bryant for being in a prolonged “situationship” because she enjoys the sex, Robert Griffin III getting backlash for coming to Angel Reese’s defense over a monkey-themed NBA 2K26, and Teddy Bridgewater responding to being suspended from coaching in Florida for providing impermissible benefits to players despite not actually being employed by any school.

  • 7/8/25: LL Stands with Philly Unions; Jaleel White’s LeBron Theory; Paul Pierce Best Pure Scorer?
    2025/07/10

In a display of solidarity with ongoing union strikes in Philadelphia, LL Cool J decided to drop out of the Wawa Welcome America concert in the city, saying that he can’t perform there while so many people are hurting as union workers in various areas of employment fight to strike a more favorable deal. Is this a good look for LL? On an interesting note, Jaleel White was asked about Drake and LeBron James’ apparent fallout and why, if they are friends, LeBron would elect to attend Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out concert in Los Angeles. Jaleel says some people can’t help but gravitate toward what’s hot, even if that means betraying a friend. Do you agree? Plus, Paul Pierce has said on national television that he is the best pure scorer in NBA history. Although he likely is saying so tongue-in-cheek to suggest he should always be mentioned when talking about great scorers in history, it was a still a bold take. Do you think Paul is right? We also talk about Cardi B seemingly clarifying rumors she broke up with Stefon Diggs, Dwight Howard getting divorced from his wife after only 6 months of marriage, and Kai Cenat facing backlash for partnering with Target to launch his self-care brand.

  • 7/1/25: Nelly Calls Out Kamala; Housewife Ex-Husband Feels Targeted; NBA Player Gambling?
    2025/07/02

Nelly continues to get called out for accepting an invitation to perform at Donald Trump’s Inaugural Ball, and he is clapping back at naysayers by pointing out that he’s done more for his community than Kamala Harris ever has and is also with a Black partner, unlike Harris. Does he have a point? Also, in another instance of bad relationships gone worse, the ex-husband of Atlanta Housewife Porsha Williams is speaking out against her, saying that he feels like he was targeted for financial reasons. Is this legit on his part, or is there a need for some accountability? Plus, NBA player Malik Beasley, fresh off of his best season as a pro, is being investigated for gambling and influencing prop bets on NBA games. This can’t be a good look for the sports fans who still believe in the idea of purity in sports, can it? We also talk about Gillie Da Kid and Joey Bada$$ having an interesting discussion about cultural gatekeepers, Kyrie Irving donating $50,000 to a center that honors Tamir Rice, and country music singer Gavin Adcock calling Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” inauthentic country music.
