The interview you are about to listen to is with Cory Michael Smith, who stars in Joe Swanberg’s latest dramedy “The Sun Never Sets.” The film explores messy entanglements every adult relationship eventually faces
Wendy has been dating her older boyfriend Jack for a while now, but with all of her friends getting married and having kids, she is coming to terms with Jack’s firm stance on not remarrying or having more children. Due to this, Jack asks for a break from Wendy so that she can explore her options. That’s when she reunites with Chuck, an ex-boyfriend who returns to town and is ready for rekindling
“The Sun Never Sets” is available in US theaters on September 4 and in Canada on September 11. In my conversation with Cory, you’ll learn more about how he built chemistry with Dakota Fanning, what it was like to film scenes without having Jake Johnson on set for most of the shoot, and what lessons he learned as a performer while improvising scenes for the film.
