The Holy Spirit brings conviction to lead us toward Jesus, repentance, and restoration. Shame, on the other hand, keeps us trapped in our past and tells us that we'll never be enough.
But if you've trusted in Jesus, you don't have to live under the weight of shame. Scripture reminds us that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and will never be put to shame. When we confess our sin and bring it to Christ, He forgives us. We don't have to keep carrying what He has already taken away.
