  • The Soul Felt Its Worth: Rediscovering the Gift of Christmas
    2025/12/22

Welcome to the Coffee Creek Church Podcast! In today's episode, Pastor Clark Frailey takes us on a heartfelt journey through the meaning of Christmas and the profound message woven into the carol “O Holy Night.” Reflecting on the theme of Advent and the longing of a world caught in darkness, Pastor Clark Frailey explores how the arrival of Jesus changed history—revealing the deep worth and value God places on each of us.

With warmth and transparency, Pastor Clark Frailey challenges modern views on self-worth, reminding us that our value isn’t earned but given freely by God. Through both scripture and timeless wisdom from early church leaders, he invites us to rethink what it means to be loved and, in turn, to love others—just as Christ modeled for us.

  • Balancing Grief and Gratitude
    2025/11/02

Starting a new series at Coffee Creek Church called “Thanks In All Things,” we’re exploring what it really means to be grateful—even in tough seasons. Pastor Clark shared profound reflections on how gratitude and lament can exist side by side, especially as the holidays approach and many are reminded of “the empty chair” at their tables.

    Here are 3 key takeaways:

-Lament is Healthy, Not Just Complaining: True lament means bringing your deepest hurts honestly before God. It’s not about suppressing sadness, but finding spiritual maturity and healing by pouring your heart out to Him.

-Gratitude in Every Season: Scripture encourages us—be thankful in all circumstances. This doesn’t mean pretending everything’s okay, but recognizing that God is our refuge, even when answers are unclear and times are tough.

-Community Matters: We’re called to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Creating spaces where people can be real about their joy and pain (without having to “fake a smile”) is essential for hope to thrive.

If you’re struggling as the holidays approach, know that you don’t have to do it alone. At Coffee Creek, we’re offering resources and gatherings that focus on honesty, support, and hope—for every season of life.
