  • 26. What Is The Truest, Most Beautiful Story About Your Life You Can Imagine?
    2021/02/12
In this episode, we begin with our thoughts on HBO’s Big Little Lies and how it’s affected us to reflect on our personal perspectives on dating + romantic relationships as a whole. We talk about the fears we have as women in the daunting world of casual, online dating, as well as how our self worth truly defines the way a romantic relationship can unfold. Sophia reads some passages from Glennon Doyle’s stunning memoir, Untamed, in which Doyle describes the power of imagination as fuel for creation in a refreshing light, and allows us to view a concept as seemingly esoteric and intangible as manifestation/visualization with an unprecedented clarity of something as universal as human experience.

  • 25. In What Ways Can I Better Show My Parents Compassion?
    2021/01/27
In this episode, we discuss how quarantine and graduation have impacted our relationships with our parents and growing up with the Internet. In the past, we saw our parents as GODS who had all the right answers but as we get older, we’re seeing eye to eye with them and the dynamic shift is … weird. It can also become more challenging when our parents better understand the changes in our life we’re facing but we have no way of truly understanding the changes they’re experiencing. This is your gentle nudge to bring more empathy (than usual) into future conversations with your parents and maybe even to start watching This Is Us (strong recommendation from Sophia).

  • 21. Reflect On 2020 And Make 4 Lists – To Release, To Thank, To Affirm, To Manifest
    2020/12/23
In this episode, we invite Jackie back onto Coconut Yogurt. We share the feelings and lessons we’ve encountered on The Great Conjunction. While all this spiritual woo-woo talk can sometimes feel elusive, we’ve taken these events as signs and opportunities to set boundaries, shed what doesn’t serve us, and carve out a life that is based in self love. The Great Conjunction, the Pattern app, the Costar app, and tarot readings have also become vehicles to shed light on the shadow work we want to deal with before the new year. Jackie and Sophie have also started a new creative accountability project on TikTok that you guys can keep up with @laudlee. Just a reminder that all of our episode titles are written and designed as journal prompts that you can use in your own self-reflection following the episode! This journal prompt is the one that we discussed in the episode as an exercise used the night of The Great Conjunction.

  • 20. From The Eyes Of Your Post-COVID19 Self, How Would You Have Wanted To Spend Your Quarantine?
    2020/12/16
Change is the only constant in our life and gaining “clarity” might just be overrated. We share our wavering thoughts and how we’ve been attempting to ground ourselves in this time. In this episode, we realize that a reframing of the intimidating questions we’re asking are a key part of allowing ourselves to be, living more presently, and accepting the lack of clarity. We express our anxieties and guilt that come with wanting to enjoy a good book in a capitalistic society that values hard work and career over everything else, and discuss how analyzing our fundamental beliefs about our self worth can be pivotal in organically changing our habits to become in alignment of what we believe that we deserve. Just a reminder that all of our episode titles are written and designed as journal prompts that you can use in your own self-reflection following the episode!
