Ryan is back to help us through the post-Christmas blues by reviewing the final UPtv Christmas movie of 2025, Christmas with the Knightleys — a holiday tale of community, love, and unexpected romance.

Georgia Jackson hopes to put on a Christmas showcase with her students, but finds herself in the spotlight when in exchange for a new community center she agrees to pose as the girlfriend of Chase Knightly, the famous son of a billionaire.

A group of people stop to listen to a woman playing the violin, including Georgia and her punk boyfriend, Andrew — a guy who actively hates teachers. He’s shocked to hear that she doesn’t want to go to a Chase Knightly dinner event, and in his disbelief, he breaks up with her. Unsurprisingly, she’s sad.

Speaking of Chase Knightly, we meet him next. He’s a playboy that the tabloids love to hate. When he arrives at his accommodations, he realizes he doesn’t have his keys — his assistant has them. So, the driver drops him off at a nearby community center.

Georgia is also at the community center, keeping an eye on a girl until her uncle arrives. That uncle? Andrew — who shows up with a new girlfriend. Chase witnesses the whole scene and pretends to be Georgia’s boyfriend to make Andrew jealous. It works.

This sparks an idea. With a big merger coming up, Chase could use some good press. He proposes a deal: “Be my girlfriend for the holiday season, and I’ll donate money to build a new community center.”

They begin hanging out, doing Christmas activities, helping her prep for the Christmas pageant, ice skating, and — naturally — starting to genuinely like each other.

Enter Randal, a paparazzo obsessed with exposing Chase and proving their relationship is a sham. He manages to call Chase out in front of the merger executive, throwing everything into jeopardy. Chase and Georgia break things off, though they both clearly have feelings for each other.

When Georgia learns the merger went through, she’s happy for him. All Chase wants now is to spend Christmas with her. He goes to the pageant to tell her how he feels, but she has already gone to the family Christmas party to find him. They catch up, make up, dance, and share a romantic moment to celebrate.
