ABOUT THIS MESSAGE:
From the beginning of time, God has provided rest for his creation. He blessed the seventh day and set it apart so that people might learn to find rest in God alone. When mankind decides to dictate their relationship with God, they will find the truth hidden from them and therefore they will never find God’s rest. But Jesus invites us to find real rest in his truth, which connects us to Jesus that we might learn from him that he is gentle and humble in heart. The yoke of discipleship lets us learn how Jesus loves sinners, washes us clean from our past, and wraps us in forgiveness and rest. The real rest that we need.
