Starting in John 3:14–19, we unpack what Jesus meant when He said the Son of Man must be lifted up, just as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness. Salvation has never been about works. It has always been about looking in faith to the One who was lifted up. “For God so loved the world…” — but that love does not remove the truth: whoever does not believe is condemned already. We must believe but also be intentional with our lives.
