Sarangees! We’re back with Episode 9 of Dynamite Kiss and y’all… THIS. IS. IT. THIS is the episode where Ji-hyeok finally finds out the TRUTHHH. It needed to happen.

But before he confronts Da-rim, he has to go through his engagement party with Ha-yeong, which is gloriously derailed when his mom fake-faints and single-handedly pauses the pending nuptials. She then decides to divorce his father for real and plans to move in with Da-rim’s mom once they’re discharged. When Ji-hyeok finally confronts Da-rim, he wastes no time. Feeling betrayed, he fires her on the spot and Da-rim begs for forgiveness.

Then, Seon-woo confesses his feelings and tells her to “think on it.” The two men then face off in the most ridiculous showdown at a photo exhibition interview, because of course they do. Ji-hyeok accepts his feelings for Da-rim and makes his move with a VERY hot kiss that leaves her completely stunned.

We also dive into the show’s addictive OST and close things out with the DK Trope Tracker!

Hello, Sarangees! We’re back with another Dynamite Kiss episode that takes a hard left from fun and flirty to fully unhinged. We kick things off with side chats about doctor visits, Bridgerton, Can This Love Be Translated?, and Jang Ok Jung before diving straight into the drama.

The episode opens at the hospital with Ji-hyuk taking care of Da-rim, while Seon-woo pays a visit to Da-rim’s mom. We’re also introduced to Ha-yeong’s brother, Tae-young — our newest trash-ass character — and get the messy backstory of his past with Ji-hye.

Next, it’s off to Natural Bebe’s tree-planting celebration… which quickly spirals when the party turns into a full-on search mission after Da-rim and Ji-hyuk go missing (while searching for a missing boy) in a rainy forest. Alone together, they share a charged moment where Ji-hyuk admits he’s been “swayed” by Da-rim — only to be interrupted by a very shocked Seon-woo.

From there, Ji-hyuk spirals hard: he heads home sick and dejected, suffers a wild nightmare, and makes a painful decision to push Da-rim away — one that could change his life forever. We wrap things up with a lightning round of the Dynamite Kiss Trope Tracker.

It’s chaotic, dramatic, and completely unhinged — just how we like it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARANGEES! 🎉 We’re officially ONE YEAR OLD on February 5, and what better way to celebrate than breaking down Episode 6 of Dynamite Kiss together? We kick things off with some reflections on turning one, then dive straight into an episode that sends everyone into a full spiral. Ji-hyuk witnesses that kiss between Seon-woo and Ha-yeong and immediately starts questioning everything…including whether he should finally tell Da-rim the “truth.” Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk and Da-rim’s moms have an ultra-awkward run-in at the hospital (K-drama fate strikes again). Back at work, the MotherTF team defeats the marketing team to launch their tree-planting campaign, which naturally calls for a celebratory team dinner — where Da-rim almost makes a move on Ji-hyuk. Elsewhere, Ha-yeong invites Seon-woo to celebrate her first birthday together, Da-rim collapses at work, and Ji-hyuk enters full hero mode, rushing her to the hospital and making a truly fateful decision.

We’re back with Episode 5 of Dynamite Kiss, and the stakes are even higher as the full love square converges at Natural Bebe. After Ji-hyuk heroically saves Da-rim from the loan sharks, he’s left spiraling over his growing feelings for the very “married” Da-rim, while Seon-woo’s jealousy starts to bubble over. Back at Natural Bebe, Ji-hyuk rescues his team from the disastrous livestream, and the MotherTF crew launches a new project: planting trees at the company park. Ji-hyuk ropes Ha-yeong into finding a photographer, and naturally, she recruits Seon-woo. He joins without hesitation, eager to get closer to Da-rim and keep a close eye on Ji-hyuk. The team heads off on a retreat, chaos ensues, and the episode ends with a surprise kiss and Ji-hyuk once again swooping in to save Da-rim. We also deep-dive into Kim Mu-jun, who plays our bestie, Seon-woo.

Sarangees! Episode 4 of Dynamite Kiss might be the tropiest episode yet, with every scene PACKED with ridiculously fun moments as Ji-hyuk flip-flops between wanting Da-rim to stay… and wanting her gone. After Ji-hyuk saves Da-rim from her “drowning” incident at the pool, both he and Seon-woo step in to rescue her from some truly unhinged loan sharks. Despite saving her (and nearly kissing her in a very random closet), Ji-hyuk still insists she resign — until a surprisingly tender bonding moment over their shared love for their moms finally cracks him. Meanwhile, the MotherTF team is forced to pull together a chaotic commerce livestream, all thanks to the scheming J-hye, delivering peak workplace shenanigans including A KISS BETWEEN DA-RIM AND JI-HYUK! The episode ends on full chaos mode: Da-rim is kidnapped, a wild car chase ensues, and Ji-hyuk offers to “buy” Da-rim with his black card. Naturally. We also deep-dive into Jang Ki-yong, the actor behind our ultimate softboy chaebol.

Ji-hyuk, our sweet, soft-boy chaebol (with EQ!), suddenly flips the switch into bad-boy chaebol, and honestly? We’re not sure how we feel about it! Da-rim officially lands the job at Natural BeBe, and her long-awaited reunion with Ji-hyuk does not disappoint. He’s shocked, furious, and—let’s be real—secretly thrilled to see her. Cue peak workplace drama as Ji-hyuk launches a full-on mission to get Da-rim fired. But our Rimmie is not going down without a fight. Determined to keep her job, she throws herself into the baby bottle testing project with everything she’s got. Meanwhile, Sun-woo discovers that Da-rim lied about being married… to him, just as Ha-yeong starts crushing on him. The episode crescendos with Da-rim presenting her team’s baby bottle report, only for Ji-hyuk to dramatically toss it into the pool.
