このコンテンツについて
My name is Chad Charles Campbell. As a child growing up around the town of Port Colborne, I spent much of my time playing hockey on local ponds or in arenas throughout Ontario. As a teenager I was prescribed my first round of painkillers. What started as a way to deal with the pain of headaches and physical injuries, ended with a way to escape the pain of a failed marriage and loss of time with my children. My addiction to Percocet spiraled out of control and I didn’t know how or where to find help. I felt alone, scared and helpless. I was ashamed of my addiction and hid it well from my family, friends and co-workers. I was afraid of being judged and losing my job. Five years ago, I discretely entered into a Opiod addiction clinic and followed the treatment program. Now, I am passionate singer-songwriter, podcaster, entrepreneur, recovered drug addict and mental health advocate. Music has helped tremendously in my road to recovery. I use singing and songwriting as an outlet for my emotions and an avenue for my messages! My mission is to connect with people & help others through my songs and messages of compassion and hope. I am speaking up and reaching out to those who are suffering. I recently posted a YouTube video about the Segue Clinic and where to find help for opiod addiction. I launched my website rightarmrightarmrightarm.com as a vehicle for my music and to spread awareness about addiction and mental health. Thank you Djay McGrath for allowing me this opportunity to publicly share my full story for the first time!
