William Conrad narrates the story of Jimmy Blue Eyes, a New Orleans trumpet player pursuing an elusive musical note amid the blues and Dixieland atmosphere of old Storyville. Jimmie Dodd stars as Jimmy, with jazz trumpet by Mannie Klein and a continuous musical score that makes this an especially distinctive, music-centered radio drama.
