We recap this weekend's action. Cavalry FC managed a 1-0 victory over Vancouver FC at Spruce Meadows on Saturday. Combined with a Forge loss, the Cavs now sit top of the table in the CPL. This is the first time this season they have done so where there have been no games in hand involved.
We also have a brief discussion about Tobias Warschewski's brilliant season and if it's enough to attract any interest from MLS clubs.
The Calgary Wild's unbeaten streak is now at five matches as they drew the Vancouver Rise 2-2 on Saturday at Swangard Stadium. Sarah Kelty-Dilling made her Wild debut between the sticks after waiting for her chance for a year and a half.
There were no USports matches to recap from the weekend but there were a few ACAC doubleheaders. We discussed SAIT's victories over Red Deer and the Ambrose Lions matches vs Lethbridge and Olds College.
The PDP Championships wrapped up in Montreal this weekend. The Calgary Rangers U15 Girls captured a bronze medal with a victory over Vancouver United. Teams from Foothills, Mackenzie United, and South West United also competed.
