Cassidy Jackson has been writing since she was thirteen years old, but didn't start thinking seriously about publishing until she hit 19 years old. Now she's a young woman and having been raised as a gen z kid, she knows the struggle is real. In this podcast, she will speak with other gen z authors and writers who like her are attempting to balance a life and writing life at the same time. In this seasonal podcast, each week there will be a new episode featuring a new gen z author and their struggles while Cassie shares her own writing story and how she manages to write and be a full time college student at the same time.     Lilka Clocksin (she/her) is an eighteen year old fantasy author who has recently graduated high school (Happy Graduation Day Lilka :D <3) and in this little more than an hour episode we dive deep into her fantasy novel, Opposite Day as well as just high school and life in general. We talk IB coursework, high school experiences, how the COVID-19 pandemic shaped high school for Lilka, student athlete vs "jock", how the status quo is meant to be broken in real life and in fiction, and many other topics two people who met through a mutual friend would talk about. It was an absolute joy to speak with her and I can't wait for you all to meet her!
