  • The one where Matt Denny is Asked the Most Unhinged Question of His Career.
    2026/03/15

Welcome back to another episode of Campbell&Co. Today we are joined by very special Guest, three time Olympian and Olympic Bronze medalist, discus thrower Matt Denny.

One of eight children from the tiny town of Allora, where the Dennys make up over 1% of the total population, the journey to the Olympic podium is nothing short of incredible. Matt shares stories from his childhood, gives us an insight into just how technical discus is and despite a larrikin exterior, reveals a steely determination and ambition.

Matt and his lovely wife Mia welcomed their first child, Roman in December 2025. He talks openly about the new perspective this has brought him before Bronte asks him maybe the most unhinged question he will ever get about fatherhood.
