    Joining us is Dorsey Nunn, author of the compelling memoir "What Kind of Bird Can’t Fly: A Memoir of Resilience and Resurrection." Dorsey's journey began within the prison walls, where he started advocating for the rights of California prisoners and their families. Since then, his impact has been monumental. As the co-director of Legal Services for Prisoners with Children (LSPC) and co-founder of All of Us or None (AOUON), Dorsey has been at the forefront of movements to end indefinite solitary confinement, expand access to housing and employment for formerly incarcerated people, and restore voting rights to those on parole and probation.

    For nearly forty years, Dorsey has championed civil and human rights, making significant strides with the Ban the Box campaign, which has removed conviction history from job applications in over 100 cities and eighteen states. His leadership has been instrumental in legislative victories and grassroots organizing, proving that radical change is not only possible but imperative.

    In his memoir, "What Kind of Bird Can’t Fly: A Memoir of Resilience and Resurrection," Dorsey shares his powerful story of transformation and activism.
