John had vivid recollections of the miracles he had witnessed, the divine interventions that had changed the course of his life and the lives of others. He remembered the man at the center of it all, Jesus, as if they had met just yesterday. But the miracles seemed so distant now, as though they belonged to another lifetime.

John's faith remained unshaken, despite the passage of time. The memory of Jesus and his teachings was still fresh in his mind, like an ever-burning flame. However, as the years went by, he found himself longing for the direct connection to the divine that he had once experienced.

He wondered if he should be locked away from these memories that were so real to him. "They are real," John thought. "I know the man. We all saw his glory. I am alive, and I remember it all." But he couldn't help feeling a sense of isolation, knowing that the fanfare and healing had ceased after a few hundred years. The miracles were no longer a common occurrence, and the world seemed to have moved on.
