As we try to navigate life in a fallen world, many difficulties and sufferings arise that seek to derail us. In the hardest moments of life, Paul contends that our glorious future in Christ should lead to faithful endurance in our present.

Suffering is part of life—and part of Chris's story--but our perspective can shift in suffering when we take our eyes off ourselves and put them fully on God.

Bodies decay. So how can the dead possibly be raised? In 1 Corinthians 15:35–49, Paul points to the seed in the ground: what is sown is not what is raised. The same body — but imperishable, glorious, and infused with the Spirit of God.

If the dead aren't raised, Christian suffering is worse than pointless — it's stupid. In 1 Corinthians 15:29–34, Paul shows why resurrection hope compels us to live foolish lives of suffering for the sake of a future gain.

A snowdrop in the snow. A first strawberry in May. Both hint at what's coming — and so does Jesus' resurrection. Trace with us the organic connection between what Christ has done, is doing, and will do, offering real hope to anyone ready to give up.
