  • The Last Parent Crying: Uniting as a Community to Fight Bullying and Save Children's Lives
    2025/10/27
The Bully Avengers Podcast is driven by the urgent mission to speak out about bullying and prevent similar tragedies from occurring. Inspired by the life and death of 10-year-old Sammy Teusch, who died by suicide after experiencing bullying at school and outside the home, this podcast addresses a problem that affects youth of all ages, races, and backgrounds.

As many as 20% of students ages 12 to 18 in the United States experience bullying, and suicide is the cause of more deaths among kids ages 10 to 24 years than any single medical illness. Bullying is defined as "unwanted aggressive behavior(s)" involving a perceived power imbalance that is often repeated.

Join us as we advocate for change from all sides of the community, sharing the vital message that words and actions can be deeply hurtful to kids. Putting an end to bullying is achieved by "a community banding together," unifying students, teachers, kids, and adults alike.

We vow to make sure Sammy's legacy lives on to help other people and strive to be the platform where the family's wish to be "the last parent crying on television" is realized. We seek to help the community understand that we have a problem and need to come together to give children a life worth living
