Bucknell senior Achile Spadone, a psychology major with a 3.92 GPA, has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team. As team captain and top performer, he started all 32 games this season, averaging 12.2 points and a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game. In league play, his numbers improved to 13.9 points and 7.3 rebounds, ranking third in the league. Despite injuries thinning the rotation, Spadone stepped up, playing full games and scoring 20 or more points three times, including a season-high 24 against Boston University. Off the court, he represents the team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and maintains a high GPA.
