We discuss section 132 of the Canonical doctrinal text: the Doctrine and Covenants. Joseph tells Emma that she must accept plural marriage or be destroyed but she will still receive spousal support (he's not a monster after all). There are strong statements about eternal marriage and only happening on earth and not after death. Those not in eternal marriage will be ministering angels to those who have eternal/polygamous marriage. Really sells hard what is greatly de-emphasized by the modern Mormon church, Fundamentalist Mormons, according to the Doctrine and Covenants, have the larger Mormon Church dead to rights about being wrong about plural marriage. Interesting how the conflict is not actually resolved on a doctrinal level but the corporate messaging does a lot of heavy lifting while "spiritual" plural marriage remains the doctrine.

We read from the Miracle of Forgiveness, actually the Miracle of Anything Other Than Forgiveness. We go on a rant about the evil policy perpetuated by Kirton McConkey telling Bishops that they do not have to report child abuse, you absolutely do not have to report, when the moral action is to report child abuse to civil authorities.

We discuss high cost of living in the US. We read from the Miracle of Forgiveness and note how the book is not about forgiveness but is a very dark view of humans and how sins are never restituted in Kimball's view of the life. Sad really and disappointing, we comment how glad we are to be away from believing Mormon leaders and their hateful world view but feel sad for our friends and family who are still victimized by these judgmental unforgiving systems.
