概要
Did this episode go off the rails? Yes. Do we overshare? Also yes. Are we exposing ourselves to the internet anyway? Absolutely! Should you stay until the end? Also yes! We keep the bloopers in the outro because apparently we still don’t know how to act professional. In this episode, we go back to the beginning and how we actually got into hockey. Jackie started in dance (yes, really), and Jenna’s first year on the ice was playing ringette… which included accidentally sticking herself in the stomach on day one. Naturally, this leads us straight into our worst and most embarrassing hockey stories, because apparently humiliation is a universal hockey experience. Now we want to hear yours! What’s your most embarrassing hockey moment? Do you have a weird superstition or good-luck ritual before games? Send us your stories, we might share them in a future episode. We also follow up on Jackie’s explanation of “shuffling” (link below) and share a little more about ringette for anyone wondering where hockey journeys sometimes begin.
