Rebecca is a writer, speaker and activist, originally from New Brunswick, Canada, but now living and working in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Having completed a Masters Degree in Social Anthropology at Dalhousie University, Rebecca has made a role for herself as an advocate of the rights and the land of the indigenous Mi'kmaq people through poetry.  We talk about Rebecca's advocacy and her view as an indigenous Canadian woman.
