In this episode, Jacob Susman speaks with Brett Perlman, the current CEO of The Center for Houston’s Future, who will be stepping into a new role focused on developing the Houston region’s hydrogen ecosystem. This includes the HyVelocity Hydrogen Hub, which is in line to receive $1.2 billion in Department of Energy funding to develop necessary infrastructure to support the shift to clean hydrogen. It’s a great example of federal funding catalyzing large private investments from industry leaders to get this industry off the ground.
