What is mindful masculinity? Scott Grace's new book, Mindful Masculinity, made me wonder. Does masculinity or femininity exist, or are they artificial social constructs?
Through songs, Dr. Seuss-like poetry, and profound and practical insights, Scott explores typical stereotypes of masculinity, often embraced by men to their detriment, and how to shift false bravado to new ways of living authentic lives filled with healthy emotional connections and relationships.
We discuss the nature of masculinity and his insightful chapters on ego, emotional repression, and feelings of inadequacy that fuel the need for a false masculine façade. Enjoy!
