Abigail Adams was quite the influence for her husband, John Adams, in his many years of government service. She was known to have written over 1,000 letters to her husband over several decades. She was both wife and mother to two Presidents in our nation's history.

One of my favorite tools for letter writing is a fountain pen. You can find many varieties of fountain pens at Ellington Pens.

There are times when our day is dark, our journey hard, our life in turmoil. The writer of Psalm 119 had such a day and most likely many of them, yet in the midst of the darkness he was reminded of who God is and what God could do in his life. The writer's devotion to the Lord is evident. His desire for that closeness in God is a surety. It can be the same with us. Take the time to devote to the study of Psalm 119.
