Mountaintop experiences are wonderful when we have them. The view is wonderful and the air is crisp and fresh. However, the majority of our lives is spent in the valley, where the conditions are hot and dry. Jesus is looking for people who will turn from the popular opinions of this world that reject and oppose Him. They do the "Hokey Pokey" and get themselves all dizzy and confused because they go from being all in when they are at church but all out when away from the church. Christ is calling us to a fruitful and abundant life, but He also requires us to reject man's opinion of who He is and to follow Him as Scripture declares.

Our spiritual vision is something that the Lord is very concerned with. The Holy Spirit is committed to teaching and guiding us so we can learn of Christ and follow Him. This week's episode takes a look at a man who was blind but healed. His healing did not come instantly, however, as Jesus showed that our understanding does not come in an instant. In order to follow Christ and serve Him, we must be students of the Scripture. From the Bible, we learn of Christ and how to serve Him. Let it be an important part of your day.

Many people today want to see a sign from God that the claims of the Bible are true. This is not pleasing to the Lord, however, because He has already given us all the evidence and information that we need to believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Scripture has been backed up by mounds of evidence that show who Christ is. Seeking God is certainly a good thing, but demanding signs from Him is not. Let us pursue Christ with all that we have and, with all the evidence that we already have, put our faith and trust in Him.

We all get hungry in this life. We all know about wanting to eat good food that is both tasty and satisfying. However, we go through times of spiritual hunger where we need to be fed by the Lord. The good news is that if you are hungry for the things of God, He is here to satisfy your hunger. Are you able to hear the Lord when He speaks to you? Many people cannot hear because they are not tuned in or are just not listening.
