Bootstrapped Unicorns is dedicated to examining the Journey of Entrepreneurship. Interviews of entrepreneurs – finding out their back story, how they discovered their business, and how they overcame the challenges they faced, will help you – our viewers, friends, and peers – move forward with confidence. Josh Pies (Host, Hippie Capitalist, and Exec Producer at C47Films.com), is a serial entrepreneur and guy who has hit both good and hard times. He never gives up and neither should you. What has fueled his ability to bounce back and champion adversity is a clear understanding that learning from the example of others is the best way to move forward with confidence. That is the purpose of this podcast - Your Success fueled by actionable, inspirational intel from the greats who have come before us. Napoleon Hill's famous text 'Think And Grow Rich" was purportedly a study of the richest men in business and how they operated. Hill's famous work by example, as well as via the infamous concept of "The Mastermind", supports the notion that learning from peers who have relevant experiences is precisely the right decision to help entrepreneurs overcome and achieve. The words Bootstrapped and Unicorn are jargon terms in the world of entrepreneurs but they are familiar and paint an excellent picture of what the journey is like and the end destination is for many of us. We bootstrap. We work hard, sweat lots, and win the hard way by nature. We also strive to become the unicorn of our industry. Our show is a celebration and exploration of what it means to bootstrap our way to success and what it means to become a unicorn. Join us by subscribing today.©2023 マネジメント・リーダーシップ リーダーシップ 経済学

  • Can Burger King Save Its Brand? Smart People Debate the Comeback
    2026/05/14

What makes some people completely freeze under pressure… while others seem to perform even better when things get chaotic?

In this live episode of B*U Live, we got into a real conversation about pressure, preparation, branding, business, media, entrepreneurship, and the moments that force you to think fast in real time.

What started as a conversation about Burger King trying to reinvent its image turned into a much bigger discussion about how perception shapes everything, from business and social media to jury trials, live broadcasting, and leadership.

    We talked about:

✅Why perception is reality in modern business

✅Whether brands can actually recover after losing trust

✅How social media can destroy or revive a company overnight

✅Why confidence usually comes from preparation

✅The difference between reacting emotionally vs responding intentionally

✅What real estate, trial law, and live TV teach you about handling pressure

✅How adversity often becomes preparation for future success

And somehow we also ended up debating:

McDonald’s Diet Coke, Burger King onion rings, Chick-fil-A pickle brine, marathon training, golf media, and why thinking under pressure is becoming a lost skill.

This was one of those conversations that went everywhere in the best possible way.

    🎙 Guests:

👉Dan Grieb, one of Florida’s top-producing real estate professionals and endurance athlete.

👉Matthew Wasserman, personal injury attorney and wine enthusiast.
