  • Blue Collared Banter: E07 - Barfights, Bagpipes, and Bakeries
    2026/04/23

In Episode 7 of Blue Collared BanterBarfights, Bagpipes, and Bakeries — Ryan and Ken kick things off already off the rails after what was supposed to be a quick setup turns into a full-blown Nerf war. Injuries are debated, accountability is denied, and somehow it all feels justified.

They read listener feedback that does not hold back—taking shots at everything from Ryan’s posture to ongoing arguments that should’ve died episodes ago. Naturally, this only fuels more arguing.

The episode drifts into bizarre news, bad decisions involving cooking, and stories that make you question how some people make it through the day. From there, it spirals into drinking regrets, strange real-world “solutions” to public problems, and the kinds of things you see on service calls that you can’t unsee.

Somewhere in the chaos, things briefly get real with talk about when a situation crosses the line and needs more than just walking away.

They close out with confidence that may or may not be earned, questionable future plans, and the usual mix of plugs, sarcasm, and controlled nonsense that defines Blue Collared Banter.

  • Blue Collared Banter: E06 - Urine, Hot Dogs, and World Records
    2026/03/27

In Episode 6 of Blue Collared BanterUrine, Hot Dogs, and World Records — Ryan and Ken celebrate a small milestone when they realize their show has officially gone “international.” That discovery quickly turns into talk about building their social pages, launching a website, and figuring out how this whole podcast thing actually works.

Ryan recaps a weekend that somehow includes a farm-to-table dinner, a trip to the shooting range, and a series of late-night house incidents that raise a very real question: is the place haunted… or just falling apart?

A dark “Would You Rather” question steers the conversation into strange territory, followed by a debate about hydration that gets way more detailed than anyone expected.

They also react to some unbelievably weird headlines, rant about a famous energy drink lawsuit, and stumble into a world-record story that probably should have stayed undiscovered.

The episode wraps up with a questionable food moment and a retail frustration that anyone who’s ever waited in a warehouse store line will understand. Chaos, confusion, and classic Blue Collared Banter.

  • Blue Collared Banter: E05 - Shower Thoughts and Felonies
    2026/03/26

In Episode 5 of Blue Collared BanterShower Thoughts and Felonies — Ken and Ryan start things off with the kind of completely unfiltered banter that quickly spirals into debates about shaving, tattoos, and the questionable decisions people make when they’re younger. What begins as casual shop talk somehow turns into stories about needle fears, bad ink, and plans to fix old mistakes.

A “Would You Rather” question sends the conversation straight into absurd territory, proving once again that these discussions probably shouldn’t happen near a microphone—but here we are.

Florida Man Chronicles returns with a fresh batch of headlines that sound too ridiculous to be real, involving terrible decision-making, criminals with zero situational awareness, and the kind of chaos that somehow only seems to happen in Florida.

They wrap things up with This Is Why I Drink, venting about entitlement, frustrating service calls, and the everyday annoyances that slowly push a person toward sarcasm and a cold beer.

Unfiltered jokes, bizarre news, and conversations that feel like they probably started in a garage somewhere—welcome back to Blue Collared Banter.

  • Blue Collared Banter: E04 - True Love and Chainsaws
    2026/03/07

In Episode 4 of Blue Collared Banter: True Love and Chainsaws, the guys attempt a Valentine’s Day special that immediately goes off the rails thanks to Ryan showing up in a very questionable outfit. From there, it’s nonstop roasting, bad decisions, and the kind of chaos that you'll only find here on BCB.

They trade embarrassing public stories, push a brutal would-you-rather to uncomfortable levels, and relive injury moments that probably should’ve stayed private. The debates get heated, the logic gets shaky, and no one looks good by the end of it.

Ryan fires off a string of bizarre “fun facts” that range from mildly interesting to deeply unsettling, while Are You Shtting Me?* delivers another batch of headlines that make you question reality.

The episode wraps with This Is Why I Drink, featuring a home project that proves once again that confidence and willpower can be a dangerous mix.

Romance, roasting, random trivia, and regret. It’s Valentine’s Day, Blue Collared style.

  • Blue Collared Banter: E03 - Beards, Bras, and Blue Cheese
    2026/03/03

In Episode 3 of Blue Collared Banter ; Beards, Bras, and Blue Cheese , Ryan and Ken settle into their Tuesday routine while Florida pretends it’s the Arctic (yes, apparently Tampa saw flurries). From there, things immediately derail into beard transformations, barber miracles, and the bold claim that facial hair is basically contouring for men. Ryan also explains why he refuses to wear a beanie; in his words it makes him look like he’s casing the neighborhood.

A couple of “hear me out” debates take over: Would you rather live in a world of nonstop public speakerphone conversations or be trapped in endless small talk? And somehow, tire rotation becomes a passionate topic instead of something you ignore until it’s too late.

There’s a jobsite story involving an estimate, some unexpected mischief, and the kind of awkward moment only service techs truly understand. Each customer has their own needs, and some of those needs are "special." Then Florida Man Chronicles returns with a Polk County suspect rocking an “all gas no brakes” neck tattoo and a Clearwater situation involving a possum that deserved better.

They close out with Why We Drink,a rant about gated communities, gate codes, call boxes, and HOA energy that tests a man’s patience. Then we take a brief snake detour because, well… Florida.

If you came for professionalism, you’re in the wrong place. If you came for beards, bad decisions, and blue-collar chaos, press play.

  • Blue Collared Banter: E02- Mean Kids and Bullet Wounds
    2026/02/25

In Episode 2 of Blue Collared Banter, the beers are cold, Ken is once again “Kennifer,” and Florida’s version of a cold front has two grown men arguing about what actually counts as winter. Static shocks, dad complaints, and unnecessary confidence set the tone early.

Ryan shares how a simple laundry shelf turned into cutting open walls, fixing pipes, and realizing he might’ve helped cause the problem in the first place. What follows is a spiral into “YouTube University” home repairs, water softener disasters, and the kind of DIY confidence that usually costs more than hiring someone.

A “Would You Rather” question about stealing (hypothetically… relax) somehow turns into grocery bills, Publix receipts that feel criminal, and the realities of feeding a family. Add in kids roasting their parents, blended family chaos, and tall step-dad jokes, and things stay right on brand.

They react to some absolutely unhinged news stories that make you question humanity, then pivot into a hard lesson involving a firearm and a moment of “I probably should’ve double-checked that.”

The episode wraps with Beyond the Front Door, where they talk about the wild, gross, and unbelievable things they’ve seen inside customers’ homes—plus a surprisingly aggressive debate about what you’re supposed to call a roundabout. If you enjoy controlled chaos with a blue-collar twist, this one delivers.

  • Blue Collared Banter: E01-Trouser Snake or Rattle Snake?
    2026/02/20

In the pilot episode of Blue Collared Banter, Ryan and Ken, two longtime friends, HVAC techs, and family guys finally put a mic in front of the same off-the-clock conversations they’ve been having for years. This isn’t an AC help show. It’s stories from the job, life at home, and whatever else comes up… recorded from a home office that doubles as a Lego display room (so background chaos is basically a co-host).

They talk about how they met on the job back in 2014–2015, why military HVAC doesn’t exactly translate to Florida residential work, and how they once used earpieces on service calls for backup until one of them got accused of stealing a customer’s purse. There’s also some debate over questionable life-or-death hypotheticals that probably didn’t need that much thought.

The show introduces its first segment, You’ve Got To Be Shitting Me*, featuring a West Virginia rat-shooting mishap and a Florida deputy chasing down a runaway emu.

In This Is Why We Drink, Ryan vents about sending out wedding save-the-dates… then postponing the wedding after buying a house, creating just enough confusion to keep family group chats active through April 17, 2027.

Expect adult language, work stories, and conversations that probably shouldn’t be recorded, but now are. Feedback is welcome at bluecollaredbanter@gmail.com.
