Every time a "blood moon" appears or war breaks out somewhere in the Middle East, the internet fills up with videos claiming Bible prophecy is being fulfilled right now!

Blood moons.
Wars with Iran.
Headline-based prophecy speculation.

And somehow it’s always “this time it’s different.”

I’ve been hearing this for more than 50 years.

From The Late Great Planet Earth…
to A Thief in the Night…
to 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1988…
to today’s endless stream of YouTube prophecy channels.

Much of what passes for end times teaching is speculation, proof-texting, and headline chasing.

And worse, it often distracts Christians from the mission Jesus actually gave us.

Instead of obsessing over blood moons and trying to decode the news, Jesus gave us something much clearer:
Matthew 24:14: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”

If Christians put the same energy into making disciples that they put into decoding headlines, we’d see something very different.
