This week on Unlock Your Mindset, I’m talking to the Chief Executive of Wilton Universal Group, Bill Scott. Bill started Wilton Universal Group at the age of 32.
Wilton Universal Group has achieved unparalleled success specialising in designing, manufacturing, coating and loading out large, complicated structures for the Offshore Oil & Gas, Subsea, Marine, Decommissioning, Offshore Wind and more latterly the defence Industry.
Bill is passionate about all things to do with engineering and coating, creating opportunities for apprentices, equal rights for women, workplace health & safety and supporting local charities. He is a keen advocate of supporting the UK supply chain and his biggest passion is to inspire the next generation.
In this episode, Bill shares his business journey from starting his apprenticeship at 18, to where he is now. We discuss the mindset and drive that it takes to lead a company with an £85m turnover.
