  • Wonder Twin Powers: Activate!
    2025/03/16

Amy and Jess discuss the importance of maintaining hope and positivity in challenging times, the need to cultivate ways to feel connected and hopeful, and the importance of self-care.

They explore the possibility of making conscious choices about the "stories" we believe in, and the need to nurture personal effectiveness and action in relationship and community. So often, people can get swept into states of fear and hopelessness. Amy and Jess offer tools and techniques for responding to fear and trauma responses.

In the end, the metaphor of "Wonder Twin Powers" arises: a way to access and channel our highest good to engage in community.

  • Pleasure and the Inner Critic
    2023/05/25

Pleasure and the Inner (Internalized) Critic

In this Episode, Amy and Jess explore the concept of the Internalized Critic: a voice and energy in society that we internalize to our own detriment. Is it necessary? Are there ways to get it out of our heads? YES!

The Internalized Critic is like a parasite, sucking our life force, making us believe we don't like ourselves, and blocking our opportunity for peace, joy, happiness, and PLEASURE (P.S. those are not all the same!).

Once we learn to externalize the Inner Critic, we have much more space inside to experience Pleasure. If you'd like to be guided through this experience, check out the FREE Inner Critic workshop, and the Pleasure Bootcamp Summer Intensive!

  • Personal Seasons, Passing Weather
    2023/03/07

This was a special episode in that—for the first time ever—we recorded the podcast together in person, sitting side-by-side...post-covid and pre-Amy's move to California!

Jess and Amy talk about the Weather and the Seasons: not outside, but inside.

The focus is on letting the "weather"—circumstances of daily life, and our responses to those circumstances—be the passing weather, separate from our deeper, more true selves.

We also touched on lots of interesting topics like Essence versus personality, the concept that "people die, but relationships don't," the full-body eye roll whenever we say "should," and why perfectionism is such a waste of energy.

At the end, there's an exercise to help you find your life's purpose! Plus, a blooper!

We hope you'll enjoy it, and please do post your life's purpose in the comments!

We'd of course love it if you would take a moment to give the podcast a rating (I think we have 4 so far...). And/or share with friends and community, anyone you think could use a BIG LOVE HUG from us!

    xoxo Jess and Amy
