Episode 5 dives into one of the most iconic rifles ever made — the Winchester Model 1894 chambered in .30-30.

We talk about what makes our specific rifles special, including their World War II-era production and the history behind them. From there, we break down the videos we’ve made featuring these rifles, including competitions, review footage, and some hilarious moments along the way (including why this might just be Santa’s favorite rifle).

We also get into why the .30-30 continues to hold a place in the hunting world today, what makes lever-action rifles so enjoyable to shoot, and why this platform still has a loyal following despite modern advancements.

In Episode 4, we dive into our experience with a Winchester Model 70 chambered in .243 and revisit the videos we made putting it to the test.
