This is a true story of mine, from decades ago. I don't know why it popped into my mind a couple of days ago whilst sitting on my porch, but it did - and I reflected on the fragility of life, how quickly and seemingly randomly, events happen to us and how much they impact our lives, or at least have the potential to do so.
This was a life changing event for me which then impacted other happenings in my life. It certainly made me treasure more than ever, and be more mindful of ho random or precarous life can be. It throws many challenges at us and hopefully we will always rise to the occasion and do what's necessary and right.
