They witness to the fact that Jesus has promised to show up in suffering - that Jesus has promised to enter into suffering - our suffering - the world’s suffering - with us and on our behalf.

Why do you seek the living among the dead? Christ is risen!

Jesus has come to bring you the hope of true shalom.

Jesus resists all temptations and distractions and is focused solely on His Father’s redemptive mission. May we find comfort and strength in Christ’s grace and faithfulness to his sinful people.
