  • Jessica’s Story: Listening to the Body and Healing the Gut
    2025/12/15

    Welcome to Being and Becoming

In this episode of Being and Becoming, I sit down with Jessica, a Gut Health Coach whose own healing journey transformed her understanding of wellness from the inside out. Jessica shares stories from her childhood and how these early experiences shaped her interest in fitness, caregiving, and eventually holistic health.

Her path shifted when she began experiencing acne, bloating, and fatigue after years in the fitness world where supplements and quick fixes were the norm. Traditional advice offered little clarity, which led her to explore gut health in a more meaningful way. This opened the door to functional testing, deeper healing, and ultimately to the work she does today as a gut health coach.

Together, we talk about the many ways stress, processed foods, antibiotics, and hormonal interventions can influence the gut, and the gentle practices that help the body find balance again. Jessica shares supportive tools such as hydration, mindful eating, dry brushing, castor oil packs, and the morning rituals that ground her, while also speaking to the emotional side of healing and the importance of compassion toward yourself.

Jessica’s vision is to bring together the wisdom of conventional science with the depth of functional healing, giving women the knowledge and confidence to understand their bodies. This conversation invites you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with the powerful relationship between gut health and your overall well-being.

  • Organized Chaos: How My ADHD Brain Does Life
    2025/12/01

    Welcome to Being and Becoming.

This episode is one of the most personal I’ve shared. I talk about discovering I had ADHD at 22, how it completely shifted the way I see myself and helped me understand so many parts of my past. What once felt like chaos started to make sense, and I began to see how I’d already built small systems to support myself long before I even knew why I needed them.

I share what ADHD really looks like for me; the messy, creative, overstimulated, beautiful parts and how I’ve learned to work with my brain instead of against it. My hope is that it helps you feel less alone in your own journey and reminds you that you don’t need to fix yourself, just understand yourself a little more gently. ❤️
