このコンテンツについて

You are always becoming—life is always changing, growing and adapting into something new. Look at creation for example, it’s continually blooming, changing or shedding something. Nature never quits and neither do we. It rests for a time but it’s always birthing something new, in and out of seasons. This podcast is for the woman who is becoming—the one in the quiet spaces, the mundane, and busyness of life, aching for more of God.Sarah Faith Werner キリスト教 スピリチュアリティ 聖職・福音主義

  • Sowing Seeds You May Never See
    2025/10/21

The eternal reward of God’s work far outweighs temporary success on earth. Your desire for impact, influence, and fruit may feel unmet now, but your perserverence in faith, love, and service is eternal.

So if you’re in a waiting season—the fruit may not fully manifest now, but God is recording it in his hall of faith.

But here is what I am learning. Maybe the point isn’t always to see the fruit right now. Maybe the point is to sow seeds you may never see. Trusting that God is working beneath the surface. Even when you feel like nothing is happening. That’s what I want to talk about today. Thanks for being here.

  • When to Lean In and When to Step Back: Rhythms for Motherhood.
    2025/10/14

I can pour in, and I can be poured into. I can lean in close, and I can step back andbreathe. I can engage fully, and I can retreat to be renewed. I can be present, and I can find reprieve. I can hold space for others, and I can hold space formyself.

What cultural Christianity often sounds like: A good mom sacrifices everything with a smile. If you're weary, you're probably not spiritual enough. Holiness=busyness for others. It's all about performing and proving. It uses religious words but is powered by guilt and comparison. Not grace.

What Jesus actually offers--Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Jesus withdrew often to lonely places to pray. He did not heal every person in Israel . He lived within limits. Joy in the spirit isn’t forced—it flows from abiding, not pretending. Sacrifice is rooted in love, not compulsion.

We are all being invited into compassionate motherhood--not a performingor striving one. A motherhood that says, I’m not limitless, but I am beloved. Myreprieve is good, my leaning in is ok. And both together make me whole.

  • From Pressure to Purpose: Releasing the Need to Be Meaningful + Living A Life of Surrender
    2025/10/06

Welcome back! Today we are asking ourselves the question if what we are building, is it kingdom-building or self-building? Especially when the things we are building look good on paper, like launching a coaching business or a podcast or even hosting retreats.

The original idea came from some thoughts that I had been wrestling with personally, like how do I discern if I am making life about me, my wishes, my dreams, my desires or if I’m making life about him and building His kingdom.

Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto." When we can give up our need to be meaningful and be impactful, we can learn to live a life of surrender and ultimately trust God to our desires as we build His kingdom. Amen? Because here is the truth, you are already meaningful. Not because you did something big, but because you are already fully loved, fully chosen and fully enough in Christ.
